More Than 85% of Access to Medicines PharmD Interns and Fellows Changed Career Path Following the Program.

The Access to Medicines PharmD Program was launched by Roivant Social Ventures and Roivant Sciences in 2023 to create summer internship and fellowship opportunities that provide real-world drug development experience to talented PharmD students. The intentions of this program are to expand access to medicines to vulnerable populations, and to further UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy's goal of providing future industry leaders with pharmaceutical experience during their PharmD tenure.

An astonishing 85.7% of the PharmD candidates that have participated in Access to Medicines PharmD Program reported that they changed their career path following their experience in the program to pursue career opportunities in drug development or patient access.
